Spaghetti squash

Cucurbitacea Cucurbita Pepo

A beautiful, very vigorous variety of squash. It produces lovely white fruits that turn creamy yellow when ripe. They shred like spaghetti after cooking; simply add sauce and cheese, then bake until golden brown for a delicious meal. It keeps for several months.

Sow directly after the last frost or start in individual pots indoors 3 to 4 weeks in advance. As it is a trailing plant, some stems can exceed 2 meters in length. Prefers soil rich in compost.
