Algonquine Pumpkin
Cucurbitacea Cucurbita Pepo
This old variety, originating in America, produces very vigorous and productive plants. The fruits turn from dark green to orange and can be harvested as soon as they begin to change color. Ripening continues after harvest. It stores very well for several months.
Sow directly after the last frost or start in individual pots indoors 3 to 4 weeks in advance. As it is a trailing plant, some stems can exceed 2 meters in length. Prefers soil rich in compost.
