Large Manitoba Peas

Fabaceae Pisum Sativum

A dwarf variety of shelling pea. It produces numerous pods containing large peas. Its sweet and fresh flavor, combined with its size, makes it a must-have for my children.

Sow directly outdoors as soon as all risk of hard frost has passed and the soil has warmed up sufficiently. Plant the seeds individually in rows 10 cm apart or in clusters of 3 or 4. Each cluster needs approximately 1 square foot of space. Provide support.
