Red Kuri Squash

Cucurbitacea cucurbita maxima

A delicious butternut squash. Each plant produces numerous round, orange fruits weighing approximately 2 kg each. The orange flesh is creamy, sweet, and flavorful. Delicious as a purée (fresh or frozen) or in a cream. Keeps for several months under good conditions.

Can be sown directly after the last frost or in individual pots indoors 3 to 4 weeks in advance. As it is a trailing plant, some stems can exceed 2 meters in length. Prefers soil rich in compost.
